From the ancient Silk Road city of Guliston, Uzbekistan, I come bearing gifts...mostly an insatiable curiosity and a love for plov. I dig Political Science like I'm trying to figure out why adults do what they do (spoiler: sometimes they don't even know), and Archaeology is basically my treasure hunt, just with way more sand and fewer pirates. On the soccer field, I'm a midfielder, the team's unsung 'spirit animal,' always there for the crucial moments, occasionally tripping over my own feet.
